I can appreciate John McCain’s criticism of both Google and Yahoo on privacy in China. The Internet is supposed to be the tool that will break down not only trade barriers but cultural barriers. It remains the most effective channel to export freedom to countries where this is none. Shame on Google and Yahoo for giving into the Chinese Government on censorship.
